M&E - Request For Proposal (RFP)

SNV is a not-for-profit international development organisation that applies practical know-how to make a lasting difference in the lives of people living in poverty. We use our extensive and long-term in-country presence to apply and adapt our top-notch expertise in agriculture, energy and WASH to local contexts. SNV has over 1250 staff in more than 25 countries in Asia, Africa and Latin America. We are proud to be a not-for-profit organisation that uses project financing to implement our mission. In its new Strategic Plan period (2019 – 2022), SNV will more explicitly aim for systems change during project preparation and implementation - by strengthening institutions and kick-starting markets that help many more to escape poverty beyond our projects. We will continue to position ourselves as a premium organisation and invest in making knowledge flow to and from the frontline.

SNV has been working in Nepal since 1980. SNV Nepal is implementing the WASH SDG project through the approach Urban Sanitation and Hygiene for Health and Development (USHHD), in Chandannath (Jumla), Birendranagar (Surkhet), Nepalgunj (Banke) and Khadak (Saptari) municipality. SNV is planning a quantitative survey for the project’s First Mid-Term Review (MTR-1) in the four municipality mentioned above. 

SNV Nepal is looking for service provider to conduct a quantitative survey for the project’s First Mid-Term Review (MTR-1) in working municipalities. The survey will be done at household, school and health care facility level. Interested organisations or firms can request a copy of the detailed TOR by writing to nepal@snv.org with subject line “M&E services for WASH SDG MTR-1”.

Deadline of RFP submission:

Documents in sealed envelopes clearly labelled with subject line “M&E services for WASH SDG MTR-1” should be submitted at SNV Nepal office, Sanepa Height by 23 March 2020, 10:00 AM.

Pre-bidding meeting is planned on 12 March 2020 10:00AM at SNV Office for clarity on ToR.
